Technical PR agency, Stone Junction has been appointed to manage next year’s EMC and Compliance International trade show, the UK’s leading conference on electromagnetic capability (EMC), in addition to handling the event’s PR. The move follows Stone Junction successfully handling the PR for 2022’s conference, taking place on May 18 and 19, 2022, at the Newbury Racecourse in Newbury, Berkshire.
EMC and Compliance International is the UK’s leading independent conference on EMC. It brings together specialists and established thought leaders to provide electrical, electronic and design engineers with guidance to tackle EMC and other compliance issues, including safety, radio equipment and system specification and testing.
“To take the show to the next stage of growth, and to help run the Workshops, we wanted to bring on a new show partner to manage activity such as venue management, exhibitor support and the production of show material, in addition to handling the show’s PR,” explained Steve Hughes, co-owner of EMC and Compliance International. “We chose Stone Junction to be our new show partner because, as a STEM-specialised PR agency, it combines the PR and marketing skills we were looking for with an in-depth understanding of the industry we operate in and our target audience.
“Stone Junction played an integral part in communicating our key messages ahead of 2022’s show, increasing our media presence and enhancing our public profile. This has allowed us reach wider audiences and ensure that our first in-person event post-COVID is a success.”
Stone Junction’s clients are all in the science, technology and engineering sector, which demonstrates the agency’s knowledge of these industries and experience with the relevant media.
“Our team combines chartered PR consultants, CIPR accredited practitioners and multiple people with either a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in STEM subjects, giving us the technical knowledge and marketing expertise to deliver a successful show for EMC and Compliance International,” added Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. “Our focus will be on making the conference the place to be for EMC.”
