Oxley Group (Stand 46) has just produced a high performance, high frequency discrete filter for a light gun.
The filter had to be lightweight due to the application and numerous adaptations were required to make it lighter and improve the performance.
The Oxley team adapted a standard part to use modified discoidal capacitors to deliver high frequency performance, allowing cost expectations to be met and lead times to be reduced.
Oxley then followed the customer’s needs through the product life cycle and prioritised continuous improvement. The part was adapted 4 times through the life cycle of the project as shown in the product image.
Once the design and manufacturing was completed Oxley continued to support the customer with a spares and repairs service which is still taking place today.
Oxley works with its customers to build long term relationships and manage customer requirements over the full life cycle of a product or project.
